A kit to make a large (107cm x 178cm) quilt. This kit comes with full instructions and all the fabric needed to make the front of the quilt, you just need to provide the thread, wadding or batting and backing fabric. This is a great project for someone who has had some experience with making quilts and is an ideal size to put on a bed, sofa or a large wall hanging.
This is a simple design using some of our most popular Indigo Shibori and Beanpaste fabric with a plain dark blue cotton and either a bright yellow or fuchsia pink cotton.
Strip Quilt (Yellow and Fuchsia)
The indigo fabric has been dyed in natural indigo and initially this dye will come off on hands and clothing. It is therefore important to wash this fabric until the water runs clear before using it in a cool wash, to stabilise the colour.
It is recommended that all the fabric in the kit is washed prior to use to prevent any colour running or shrinking.
